Tigerlily padded out of the leader's den. She had been talking to Furystar just then about some matters that needed to be discussed. About who the new deputy was going to be and about some mentors for some new apprentices that were going to be named soon. Tigerlily and Furstar were good friends and she was glad that the leader had wanted to speak to her. However Tigerlily did not want to be deputy. She didn't think herself qualified enough for one and for two she wasn't much of a leader. So she had suggested someone else.
Now she was about to go out on a Sunhigh patrol and she wondered who she should take. Furystar had asked her to go out on one because Shadowclan scent had been found on the Thunderclan//Shadowclan border. Tigerlily hoped that she was not going to find any Shadowclan cats trying to cross. She wondered what they were planning. Since Starclan hasn't been speaking to them for a long while Tigerlily knew that there was going to be war between all of the Clans.
She padded over to the Warriors den and looked inside. "Anyone in here wanna go on a patrol?" She asked. " I only need about two or three others."

Furystar poked her head out of her den streching her limbs at a time. She glanced at her friend, all this thinking of what to about a deputy was stressing her too much. An idea came to her mind as she padded after the she-cat. "Mind if I join you? I could use the exercise" She joked while smiling at the two warriors.

Tigerlily smiled as Brambleheart came out to volunteer and Furystar asked if she could join. She would love it if both of them came with her. She loved the company. She was also glad that Furystar had asked to come. "Sure Furystar! And Brambleheart I'm glad you could volunteer. Your a good warrior and I'm glad to have you on my team." She said this as she glanced at Furystar. Hopefully her leader and friend would see the message she had sent in that glance. she actually wondered if Brambleheart could be a good deputy. She didn't know what the other warriors thought about it. But Tigerlily thought it was a pretty good idea.
She turned to the camp entrance and began to think about the patrol. The Shadowclan cats had been acting quiet strange recently and so she knew that they might have to re-scent the borders. She looked back at her two clanmates and smiled again. She just loved going on patrols with the cats she cared about.
She turned to Brambleheart, "Furystar wants us to take a look around shadowclan border. We keep scenting them around there and we've been getting worried. So thats where we are going to go."
[ooc: Hey Black, If you want that Deputy status,  I suggest that you post atleast 50 words instead of one liners. Its not that much. Mine are about 200 words but the site count is 50. Its not that hard.]

Brambleheart looks at Furystar wondering why she was coming along not that he didn't want her to but most leaders wouldn't come on such a routine patrol as this. But most of all he was wondering why Tigerlily was looking at him in a different way. "Hello Furystar how are you today?"He says turning to look at Furystar. |

Furystar blinked at the warrior. "Just fine thank you" Furystar bounded forward cheerfully. "I don't think we'll have trouble probably just slight mishap" she purred a little to optimistic she was feeling nice today. Her eyes glided over the border.

Brambleheart stretches into following Furystar still wondering about Tigerlily."Aw i was hoping for a fight, a chance to show those pesky Shadowcaln cats what we do to cats who venture onto our land." He purrs jokingly.

Of course. That was how a warrior was. Always wanting a fight. It was natural and Tigerlily didn't blame him. She was restless too. However she was hoping that a fight wouldn't break out. Not in Leaf-bare. Food was still scarce and any hope of surviving a battle without full bellies was suicide.
She turned to face the tom and purred. "Yes we all are but I'm starving and I don't really want to get into a fight without some freshkill. What do you think?"
She was testing the tom. She was wondering how her clanmate would react to this patrol. She was actually glad that he had chosen to come. If he was the right warrior to take on the job of Deputy she would definately suggest him to Furystar, however Furystar was the last word and she wasn't going to MAKE her leader chose him to be her very trusted deputy. Again Tigerlily didn't really think she was right for the job. First she was really close to Furystar and she knew by experience that when best friends started gaining the highest powers they began to try to overcontrol and show how the other one is better.
Tigerlily didn't want that to happen. She wanted to keep her friendship with her leader and friend. Though she did hope to gain an apprentice soon. That was another problem. She hadn't had an apprentice yet. She couldn't be a deputy without one. She looked over at Brambleheart. Has he had an apprentice yet? Maybe Furystar will give him one after he becomes deputy. Surly there were other cats whom had had apprentices who were just as loyal.
She shook her head. Whiteblaze was good, but she wasn't sure he was the answer either. He had been sneaking off alot lately and that really worried Tigerlily.
She shook her head coming back to reality. She realized that while they walked she had gone into her own little world and she hadn't realized that Furystar and Brambleheart were looking at her as if to wonder if she was ohkay. Had they asked her a question?
"Uh... I'm sorry, what?"

Brambleheart lifts his nose up to smeel the air at the border "I can definately smell some Shadowclan scents here as well as our own." He turns towards Tigerlily and Furystar"what do we do now?"

Furystar scratched agaunst a tree. "Leave a warning" Her nose caught the breeze as a dreadful scent reached her. "or teach one" she growled her eyes peircing the undergrowth.

Brambleheart tenses as his leader looks through the underbrush. He half-crouches getting ready to pounce if necesary. Brambleheart thinks of his strategy if there is a fight with Shadowclan.

Lightpaw scuffled through the growth a bundle of herbs in her mouth. The white she-cat looked at the group of cats on her side of the border calmly. "I thought I smelled Thunderclan cats". She sat neatly on the ground her white fr pristine amd clean. "What brings such cats here?" Lightpaw thought she had been helping the shadowclan med. Cat when a bout of green cough entered a couple of the warriors and she had overstock of the needed herbs back at home upon request she restocked their fill when the warriors were at rest.

Brambleheart stood still waiting for Furystar or Tigerlily to talk he wasn't a very good talker he always made them mad. Thoug he stood still tense he was more relaxed at seeing that it was the medicinecat apprentice.

Tigerlily noticed the white she-cat for the first time and smiled at her. "Greetings Lightpaw, What brings you all the way to Shadowclan's border?" She was interupted by another scent but this one was Shadowclan. She turned her lips into a snarl but gave it up when she saw an Ashy colored coat and a white pelt.
"She was helping me and my mentor Tigerlily." This new voice belonged to a little blind medicine cat apprentice that went by the name of Sleepingpaw. Her brother Maskpaw stood beside her. He didn't have the same smile on his face that sleepingpaw had. "Right Lightpaw?" The kind shecat asked.
She wasn't going to tell the warrior why of course. It wasn't really fair to Shadowclan if Thunderclan knew their weekness. Maskpaw wouldn't really let her tell them anyway. Maskpaw turned his gaze onto Furystar and dipped his head in greeting. "Greetings Furystar, Tigerlily, Brambleheart. The day is lovely today isn't it?" His voice was smooth and completely sugarcoated. Though there was no way of telling.
Then his gaze turned on Brambleheart and a dangerous look flashed across eyes eyes. However it was gone before anyone could register it.
