L O U D B E L L Y17 Moons | Tom | ThunderClan | Warrior "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
Large grey tabby tom with grey eyes
''APPEARANCE;; Loudbelly is a large tom. His legs are long and sturdy and it isn't easy to knock him down unless you are as big as he is or bigger. His fur is thin, but always thickens with winter. On his pelt he has dark grey and black stripes from his head to his tail tip. His eyes are grey, like his pelt. His left ear is split down the middle all the way to the skull. This is a reminder of how cruel his mentor, Otterclaw, was.
''PERSONALITY;; Loudbelly is a humorous tom. He has a great sense of humor and is able to laugh at himself. He doesn't care if anyone talks down of him, as long as he knows he is loyal, kind, and protective of his mate and his clan. Speaking of mates, Loudbelly doesn't have one. But he knows that if he did, he would be loyal to her, and love her, and protect her beyond the loyalty to his clan. He also dreams of having kits one day. Loudbelly is also a natural leader. He can rally almost any cat, though he prefers to stay in the shadows. He is a shy tom and doesn't like being in the spot light often. However, he will take charge if he has to.
''HISTORY;;
''KIT LIFE;; Loudkit was a big eater from the start. He suckled the most milk every day and as soon as he was old enough to eat solid food, he always chose the biggest piece of prey he could carry from the fresh kill pile and ate the whole thing, bones, fur, and all. He grew fat on his food and when leaf-bare came around, he caught greencough. He almost didn't make it, but it was thanks to the love of his mother, brother, and sister, as well as the medicine cat, that he did. It was new-leaf, however, when his life changed forever. An attack from ShadowClan killed his mother, and a murderous she-cat from ShadowClan claimed the life of his brother who had tried to join the fight. Loudkit grieved with his sister, but after the battle, their father never came to visit them because Loudkit was an spitting image of his mother. Loudkit would often see him around camp, talking to other cats. Whenever Loudkit caught his father looking at him, his father would retreat from the camp, claiming that he needed to hunt. Loudkit felt unloved, but having his sister around helped comfort him.
''APPRENTICE;; A few days after their mother died, Loudkit was made an apprentice and named Loudpaw. The leader of ThunderClan had seen Loudpaw really wanting the support and comfort of his father, and so made him Loudpaw's mentor. His name was Stonetooth, and he was a massive tom who's top fangs actually poked out from under his lips. Loudpaw could tell that it pained Stonetooth to look at him every day, much less teach him to be a warrior. His training flew by and Loudpaw's natural skill quickly became fighting. It was during his battle assessment that Loudpaw proved he was fit to be a warrior. They were training and Loudpaw was waiting to dodge his father's attacks. Loudpaw stood tall, muscles tensed to spring away, when the rustle of undergrowth caught his attention. His father bowled into him, slamming him into the ground. "Loudpaw-" Loudpaw silenced his father with a worried look and they both crept, belly skimming the ground, until they saw ferns quivering ahead of them. Loudpaw and Stonetooth opened their mouths at the same time to scent. ShadowClan! And a lot of them! "Loudpaw. Listen to me. I need you to go back to camp and warn Jaystar that ShadowClan may be invading. Go! Quick!" Stonetooth ordered quietly. Loudpaw's eyes glittered with fear that the ShadowClan cats would scent his father and attack him. He would be outnumbered. Stonetooth seemed to understand. "It's okay, Loudpaw. I'll be fine. I'll stay two fox lengths behind them." Loudpaw accepted this with a heavy heart and made a wide circle around the ShadowClan cats and raced back to camp with the speed of StarClan once he was past them. "Jaystar! Jaystar!" Loudpaw yowled as he came through the entrance to the camp. Jaystar, a large dark grey tom with a white marking on his forehead, came forward. "Loudpaw, what is it?" He asked gently, but firmly. "Shadow-" He was interrupted as five warriors from ShadowClan came from the entrance of the tunnel, headed by Blackfoot! Jaystar instantly put himself between Loudpaw and the large ShadowClan tom. "What is it you want, Blackfoot?" Jaystar demanded. "You have something that belongs to ShadowClan." Blackfoot boldly started to pad to the nursery. Jaystar growled, but before he could intercept him, Loudpaw leaped in his way. "Take one more step and I'll use your fur to line my nest." He snarled bravely. "Brave words for such a little cat." Blackfoot smirked. "One of the kits in your nursery belong to ShadowClan! Surrender her peacefully, or we're going to have a problem." Blackfoot threatened. "Then I guess we're going to have a problem, aren't we?" A deep voice rumbled. Blackfoot and Loudpaw looked across the camp to see Stonetooth stalking toward him. He put himself between Blackfoot and Loudpaw, his eyes glaring with a challenge. "I guess we are." Blackfoot mewed smoothly. Jaystar watched with curiosity and motioned to Stonetooth. Loudpaw's father narrowed his eyes at Blackfoot and padded over to Jaystar. He muttered something to Stonetooth. Suddenly, Stonetooth looked at Loudpaw in confusion, but then turned back to Jaystar and nodded, taking a seat next to the leader and both watched Loudpaw curiously, Jaystar nodded to Loudpaw. Blackfoot smirked. "Letting your inexperienced apprentices make decisions, Jaystar?" Blackfoot smirked and pushed Loudpaw aside to get to the nursery. Loudpaw lashed out at Blackfoot with his claws out, catching him above the eye. Blackfoot yowled in surprise and jumped back. He raised a massive black paw to strike down the apprentice. "Look around you, Blackfoot. Will you really attack me in my own camp, surrounded by ThunderClan cats when you have only three other warriors and two apprentices with you? Would that be wise?" Loudpaw narrowed his eyes. Blackfoot snarled and put his paw down. "Good boy, now leave my camp and don't come back." Loudpaw growled. "Not without that kit." Blackfoot growled back. "It's half ShadowClan. ShadowClan has a right to it." Blackfoot reasoned. "And besides, you don't want to carry the burden of a half-clan cat, do you?" Blackfoot tried to negotiate. "ThunderClan do not consider kits a 'burden', even if they were not clan-born at all. They are kits and every kit deserves a chance at life, no matter where or who they come from. And besides, ThunderClan will fight for this kit." Loudpaw growled threateningly. "If it's a war you want, then it's a war-" Blackfoot started. "That is not necessary, Blackfoot." Loudpaw reasoned. "That is the problem with ShadowClan." He mewed. "There is nothing wrong with ShadowClan!" Blackfoot retorted. "No? I know from a few sources that you have killed two clan cats, both of which were leaders. I know, that this kit you are fighting so hard to get custody of, is your daughter." Loudpaw stopped as gasps of shock rippled through ThunderClan. "So, ShadowClan has a liar and a murderer for a deputy. I see that as a problem for ShadowClan, don't you?" He smirked. Blackfoot's whiskers quivered, and Loudpaw could tell he was holding back a snarl. "Well, Blackfoot, the kit belongs to ThunderClan. Get out my camp, or be forced out." Loudpaw mewed firmly. "You and what army?" Blackfoot challenged. As one, ThunderClan warriors and apprentices, queens and elders, stepped forward in a line of defense. They were a sea of snarling, hissing, spitting cats. Blackfoot's eyes flashed defiantly, but he knew he was beaten. "ShadowClan! We are leaving." Blackfoot signaled with his tail and headed for the entrance of the camp. Before he left, Blackfoot stopped and looked over his shoulder, glaring at Loudpaw. "I will return for her." He snarled and was gone. "Can't wait." Loudpaw growled. Stonetooth and Jaystar padded up to Loudpaw, nuzzling him and mewing their praise. Loudpaw mewed, "I couldn't let that airhead take what he wanted. She belongs to ThunderClan and it's going to stay that way."
''WARRIOR;; That night, Loudpaw had his warrior ceremony and was named Loudbelly. He sat his vigil and the night was peaceful. The next morning, Stonetooth relieved him and Loudbelly headed for the apprentices den. Stonetooth cleared his throat loudly and Loudbelly looked at him. "I believe your den is over there." Stonetooth flicked his tail and Loudbelly followed it to the warriors den. Loudbelly purred loudly and pushed his way inside. Locating a place to sleep, he settled down and rested. Sleep overcame him quickly. Since that day, his father had died in a battle when Blackfoot came back with reinforcements to reclaim his daughter. They drove him away and she became medicine cat apprentice. Loudbelly is still her only friend.
